अथास्य सशरं चापं मुष्टौ चिच्छेद मारिष ।
हयांश्च चतुरः संख्ये प्रेषयामास मृत्यवे ॥२४॥

24. athāsya saśaraṁ cāpaṁ muṣṭau ciccheda māriṣa ,
hayāṁśca caturaḥ saṁkhye preṣayāmāsa mṛtyave.

24. Then, O venerable one, he severed his opponent's bow, which was fitted with an arrow, from his hand. And in that battle, he sent his opponent's four horses to their death.
