वधं वै कर्णवृत्राभ्यां कथयिष्यन्ति मानवाः ॥२॥

O Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna), just as Vṛtra was slain by Balabhit (Indra), so too Karna has been slain by you. Indeed, people will speak of the killing of both Karna and Vṛtra.
