महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-21, verse-6

प्रहतनररथाश्वकुञ्जरं प्रतिभयदर्शनमुल्बणं तदा ।
तदहितनिहतं बभौ बलं पितृपतिराष्ट्रमिव प्रजाक्षये ॥६॥
6. prahatanararathāśvakuñjaraṁ; pratibhayadarśanamulbaṇaṁ tadā ,
tadahitanihataṁ babhau balaṁ; pitṛpatirāṣṭramiva prajākṣaye.

6. Then, that formidable army, with its men, chariots, horses, and elephants struck down, and appearing terrifying, having been destroyed by its enemies, looked like the realm of the Lord of Death (pitṛpati) at the time of the annihilation of creation (prajākṣaye).
