महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-21, verse-21

ततो द्रौणेर्धनुश्छित्त्वा हत्वा चाश्ववराञ्शरैः ।
कृपस्यापि तथात्युग्रं धनुश्चिच्छेद पाण्डवः ॥२१॥
21. tato drauṇerdhanuśchittvā hatvā cāśvavarāñśaraiḥ ,
kṛpasyāpi tathātyugraṁ dhanuściccheda pāṇḍavaḥ.
21. tataḥ drauṇeḥ dhanuḥ chittvā hatvā ca aśvavarān śaraiḥ
kṛpasya api tathā atyugram dhanuḥ ciccheda pāṇḍavaḥ
21. Then the Pāṇḍava (Arjuna), having cut Droṇa's son's (Drauṇi's) bow and killed his excellent horses (aśvavara) with arrows, similarly cut Kṛpa's very fierce bow as well.
