अथ सात्यकिमुत्सृज्य त्वरन्कर्णोऽर्जुनं त्रिभिः ।
विद्ध्वा विव्याध विंशत्या कृष्णं पार्थं पुनस्त्रिभिः ॥२३॥

23. atha sātyakimutsṛjya tvarankarṇo'rjunaṁ tribhiḥ ,
viddhvā vivyādha viṁśatyā kṛṣṇaṁ pārthaṁ punastribhiḥ.

23. Then Karṇa, hastily leaving Sātyaki, pierced Arjuna with three arrows. He then struck Kṛṣṇa with twenty (arrows) and Pārtha (Arjuna) again with three (arrows).
