तां शस्त्रवृष्टिं बहुधा छित्त्वा कर्णः शितैः शरैः ।

28. Karṇa, having repelled that shower of weapons (śastravṛṣṭi) in various ways with his sharp arrows, drove away all those (warriors), just as the wind (māruta) breaks and carries away trees.
