महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-15, verse-28

अष्टावष्टगवान्यूहुः शकटानि यदायुधम् ।
अह्नस्तदष्टभागेन द्रौणिश्चिक्षेप मारिष ॥२८॥
28. aṣṭāvaṣṭagavānyūhuḥ śakaṭāni yadāyudham ,
ahnastadaṣṭabhāgena drauṇiścikṣepa māriṣa.

28. O venerable one, Droṇa's son (Drauṇi) fired off so many arrows that he emptied eight wagons, each drawn by eight oxen and laden with his weaponry, within just one-eighth part of that day.
