महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-15, verse-11

चतुरङ्गं बलं बाणैर्निघ्नन्तं पाण्ड्यमाहवे ।
दृष्ट्वा द्रौणिरसंभ्रान्तमसंभ्रान्ततरोऽभ्ययात् ॥११॥
11. caturaṅgaṁ balaṁ bāṇairnighnantaṁ pāṇḍyamāhave ,
dṛṣṭvā drauṇirasaṁbhrāntamasaṁbhrāntataro'bhyayāt.
11. caturaṅgam balam bāṇaiḥ nighnantam pāṇḍyam āhave
dṛṣṭvā drauṇiḥ asaṃbhrāntam asaṃbhrāntataraḥ abhyayāt
11. drauṇiḥ āhave bāṇaiḥ caturaṅgam balam nighnantam
asaṃbhrāntam pāṇḍyam dṛṣṭvā asaṃbhrāntataraḥ abhyayāt
11. Having observed the Pandyan king, who was calm and undisturbed, striking down the four-limbed army with his arrows in battle, Droṇi's son (Aśvatthāman) approached him with even greater composure.
