महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-56, verse-9

तत्कथं नु महाबाहुर्वासविः परवीरहा ।
प्रतिज्ञां सफलां कुर्यादिति ते समचिन्तयन् ॥९॥
9. tatkathaṁ nu mahābāhurvāsaviḥ paravīrahā ,
pratijñāṁ saphalāṁ kuryāditi te samacintayan.
9. tat katham nu mahābāhuḥ vāsaviḥ paravīrahā
pratijñām saphalām kuryāt iti te samacintayan
9. tat te iti samacintayan — (he) mahābāhuḥ vāsaviḥ
paravīrahā pratijñām katham nu saphalām kuryāt?
9. Therefore, they deliberated, 'How will the mighty-armed Vāsavi, the slayer of enemy warriors, fulfill his vow?'
