महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-56, verse-12

स हत्वा सैन्धवं संख्ये पुनरेतु धनंजयः ।
जित्वा रिपुगणांश्चैव पारयत्वर्जुनो व्रतम् ॥१२॥
12. sa hatvā saindhavaṁ saṁkhye punaretu dhanaṁjayaḥ ,
jitvā ripugaṇāṁścaiva pārayatvarjuno vratam.

jitvā ripugaṇān ca eva pārayatu arjunaḥ vratam
12. saḥ dhanañjayaḥ saṃkhye saindhavam hatvā punaḥ
etu arjunaḥ ca eva ripugaṇān jitvā vratam pārayatu
12. Having slain the Sindhu king (Saindhava) in battle, let Dhanañjaya return. And having conquered the hordes of enemies, let Arjuna fulfill his vow.
