महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-130, verse-22

तं कर्णो भ्रातरश्चास्य नामृष्यन्त महारथाः ।
ते भीमसेनं नाराचैर्जघ्नुराशीविषोपमैः ॥२२॥
22. taṁ karṇo bhrātaraścāsya nāmṛṣyanta mahārathāḥ ,
te bhīmasenaṁ nārācairjaghnurāśīviṣopamaiḥ.
22. tam karṇaḥ bhrātaraḥ ca asya na amṛṣyanta mahārathāḥ
te bhīmasenam nārācaiḥ jaghnuḥ āśīviṣopamaiḥ
22. karṇaḥ asya bhrātaraḥ ca mahārathāḥ tam na amṛṣyanta
te āśīviṣopamaiḥ nārācaiḥ bhīmasenam jaghnuḥ
22. Karṇa and his brothers, who were great charioteers, could not tolerate him. They struck Bhīmasena with arrows as deadly as venomous snakes.
