वारितोऽसि पुरा तात मुनिभिर्वेदपारगैः ।
मा गच्छ संयुगं तेन वासुदेवेन धीमता ।
मा पाण्डवैः सार्धमिति तच्च मोहान्न बुध्यसे ॥३०॥

30. vārito'si purā tāta munibhirvedapāragaiḥ ,

Dear father, you were previously forbidden by sages, those who have mastered the Vedas. They told you, 'Do not go into battle with that intelligent Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa), nor with the Pāṇḍavas.' Yet, because of your delusion, you do not understand that advice.
