महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-62, verse-19

यश्च मानुषमात्रोऽयमिति ब्रूयात्सुमन्दधीः ।
हृषीकेशमवज्ञानात्तमाहुः पुरुषाधमम् ॥१९॥
19. yaśca mānuṣamātro'yamiti brūyātsumandadhīḥ ,
hṛṣīkeśamavajñānāttamāhuḥ puruṣādhamam.
19. yaḥ ca mānuṣa-mātraḥ ayam iti brūyāt su-manda-dhīḥ
hṛṣīkeśam avajñānāt tam āhuḥ puruṣa-adhamam
19. yaḥ ca su-manda-dhīḥ ayam mānuṣa-mātraḥ iti avajñānāt hṛṣīkeśam brūyāt,
tam puruṣa-adhamam āhuḥ
19. And whoever, being extremely dull-witted (su-manda-dhīḥ), out of disrespect (avajñānāt) says, "He (ayam) is merely a human (mānuṣa-mātraḥ)," referring to Hṛṣīkeśa, people call that person the lowest of men (puruṣādhamam).
