महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-62, verse-20

योगिनं तं महात्मानं प्रविष्टं मानुषीं तनुम् ।
अवमन्येद्वासुदेवं तमाहुस्तामसं जनाः ॥२०॥
20. yoginaṁ taṁ mahātmānaṁ praviṣṭaṁ mānuṣīṁ tanum ,
avamanyedvāsudevaṁ tamāhustāmasaṁ janāḥ.
20. yoginam tam mahā-ātmānam praviṣṭam mānuṣīm tanum
avamanyeta vāsudevam tam āhuḥ tāmasam janāḥ
20. janāḥ tam yoginam mahā-ātmānam mānuṣīm tanum praviṣṭam vāsudevam yaḥ avamanyeta,
tam tāmasam āhuḥ
20. Those people (janāḥ) who disrespect (avamanyeta) Vāsudeva—that great soul (mahātman), the yogī (yoginam), who has entered a human form (mānuṣīm tanum)—they call such a person "tāmasa" (ignorant and deluded).
