महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-187, verse-30

सैनामथाब्रवीद्राजन्कृताञ्जलिरनिन्दिता ।
भीष्मो रामेण समरे न जितश्चारुलोचने ॥३०॥
30. saināmathābravīdrājankṛtāñjaliraninditā ,
bhīṣmo rāmeṇa samare na jitaścārulocane.
30. sā enam atha abravīt rājan kṛtāñjaliḥ aninditā
bhīṣmaḥ rāmeṇa samare na jitaḥ ca cārulocane
30. rājan cārulocane atha sā aninditā kṛtāñjaliḥ
enam abravīt bhīṣmaḥ rāmeṇa samare na jitaḥ ca
30. O king (rājan)! O beautiful-eyed one (cārulocane)! Then, she, blameless (aninditā), with folded hands (kṛtāñjaliḥ), said to him, 'Bhīṣma was not defeated by Rāma in battle.'
