महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-42, verse-9

तथा लोकान्तकृच्छ्रीमान्यमः साक्षात्प्रतापवान् ।
मूर्त्यमूर्तिधरैः सार्धं पितृभिर्लोकभावनैः ॥९॥
9. tathā lokāntakṛcchrīmānyamaḥ sākṣātpratāpavān ,
mūrtyamūrtidharaiḥ sārdhaṁ pitṛbhirlokabhāvanaiḥ.
9. tathā lokāntakṛt śrīmān yamaḥ sākṣāt pratāpavān
mūrtyamūrtidharaiḥ sārdham pitṛbhiḥ lokabhāvanaiḥ
9. Similarly, the glorious and powerful Yama, the ender of the worlds, personally arrived, accompanied by the Pitṛs (ancestors) who sustain the worlds and manifest in both embodied and unembodied forms.
