महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-42, verse-18

पूर्वर्षिरमितात्मा त्वं नरो नाम महाबलः ।
नियोगाद्ब्रह्मणस्तात मर्त्यतां समुपागतः ।
त्वं वासवसमुद्भूतो महावीर्यपराक्रमः ॥१८॥
18. pūrvarṣiramitātmā tvaṁ naro nāma mahābalaḥ ,
niyogādbrahmaṇastāta martyatāṁ samupāgataḥ ,
tvaṁ vāsavasamudbhūto mahāvīryaparākramaḥ.

mahābalaḥ niyogāt brahmaṇaḥ tāta

18. You are the ancient sage of immeasurable self (ātman), named Nara, of great power. By the command of Brahmā (brahman), dear son, you have attained a mortal existence. You were born from Vāsava, possessing great valor and might.
