महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-294, verse-31

इन्द्र उवाच ।
न ते बीभत्सता कर्ण भविष्यति कथंचन ।
व्रणश्चापि न गात्रेषु यस्त्वं नानृतमिच्छसि ॥३१॥
31. indra uvāca ,
na te bībhatsatā karṇa bhaviṣyati kathaṁcana ,
vraṇaścāpi na gātreṣu yastvaṁ nānṛtamicchasi.
31. indraḥ uvāca na te bībhatsatā karṇa bhaviṣyati kathaṃcana
vraṇaḥ ca api na gātreṣu yat tvam na anṛtam icchasi
31. Indra said: O Karna, no repulsiveness will come to you in any way, nor will there be wounds on your body, because you do not desire untruth.
