महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-294, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
देवराजमनुप्राप्तं ब्राह्मणच्छद्मना वृषः ।
दृष्ट्वा स्वागतमित्याह न बुबोधास्य मानसम् ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
devarājamanuprāptaṁ brāhmaṇacchadmanā vṛṣaḥ ,
dṛṣṭvā svāgatamityāha na bubodhāsya mānasam.
1. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca devarājam anuprāptam brāhmaṇacchadmanā
vṛṣaḥ dṛṣṭvā svāgatam iti āha na bubodha asya mānasam
1. Vaiśampāyana said: Vṛṣa (Karna), having seen the king of gods (Indra) who had arrived in the disguise of a Brahmin, greeted him saying 'Welcome', but did not understand his (Indra's) intention.
