एकं हनिष्यसि रिपुं गर्जन्तं बलिनं रणे ।
त्वं तु यं प्रार्थयस्येकं रक्ष्यते स महात्मना ॥२७॥

ekaṁ haniṣyasi ripuṁ garjantaṁ balinaṁ raṇe ,
tvaṁ tu yaṁ prārthayasyekaṁ rakṣyate sa mahātmanā.

Indra said: "You will kill one mighty, roaring enemy in battle. However, the one whom you specifically pray for will be protected by the great soul (mahātman)."
