महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-91, verse-29

गत्वा त्ववभृथं राजा विपाप्मा भ्रातृभिः सह ।
सभाज्यमानः शुशुभे महेन्द्रो दैवतैरिव ॥२९॥
29. gatvā tvavabhṛthaṁ rājā vipāpmā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha ,
sabhājyamānaḥ śuśubhe mahendro daivatairiva.
29. gatvā tu avabhṛtham rājā vi-pāpmā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha
sabhājyamānaḥ śuśubhe mahendraḥ daivataiḥ iva
29. rājā vi-pāpmā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha avabhṛtham tu gatvā
sabhājyamānaḥ mahendraḥ daivataiḥ iva śuśubhe
29. Having gone to the purificatory bath (avabhṛtham), the king, now free from sin, shone splendidly alongside his brothers, being honored like Mahendra (Indra) among the deities.
