महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-16, verse-20

जातीमरणतत्त्वज्ञं कोविदं पुण्यपापयोः ।
द्रष्टारमुच्चनीचानां कर्मभिर्देहिनां गतिम् ॥२०॥
20. jātīmaraṇatattvajñaṁ kovidaṁ puṇyapāpayoḥ ,
draṣṭāramuccanīcānāṁ karmabhirdehināṁ gatim.
