महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-331, verse-13

तेभ्यो धन्यतरश्चैव नारदः परमेष्ठिजः ।
न चाल्पतेजसमृषिं वेद्मि नारदमव्ययम् ।
श्वेतद्वीपं समासाद्य येन दृष्टः स्वयं हरिः ॥१३॥
13. tebhyo dhanyataraścaiva nāradaḥ parameṣṭhijaḥ ,
na cālpatejasamṛṣiṁ vedmi nāradamavyayam ,
śvetadvīpaṁ samāsādya yena dṛṣṭaḥ svayaṁ hariḥ.
13. tebhyaḥ dhanyataraḥ ca eva nāradaḥ
parameṣṭhijaḥ na ca alpatejasam ṛṣim
vedmi nāradam avyayam śvetadvīpam
samāsādya yena dṛṣṭaḥ svayam hariḥ
13. ca eva nāradaḥ parameṣṭhijaḥ tebhyaḥ
dhanyataraḥ ca ṛṣim nāradam na
alpatejasam vedmi avyayam yena śvetadvīpam
samāsādya hariḥ svayam dṛṣṭaḥ
13. And indeed, Nārada, born of Parameṣṭhī (Brahmā), is more blessed than those [ancestors]. I do not consider sage (ṛṣi) Nārada to be of little power, and I know him as imperishable. [He is the one] by whom Hari (Viṣṇu) himself was seen after reaching Śvetadvīpa.
