महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-272, verse-9

तत्प्रेक्ष्य तादृशं रूपं त्रैलोक्येनापि दुर्जयम् ।
वृत्रस्य देवाः संत्रस्ता न शान्तिमुपलेभिरे ॥९॥
9. tatprekṣya tādṛśaṁ rūpaṁ trailokyenāpi durjayam ,
vṛtrasya devāḥ saṁtrastā na śāntimupalebhire.

vṛtrasya devāḥ saṃtrastāḥ na śāntim upalebire
9. devāḥ vṛtrasya tādṛśam trailokyena api durjayam
tat rūpam prekṣya saṃtrastāḥ śāntim na upalebire
9. Seeing that form, which was unconquerable even by the three worlds, the gods were greatly frightened by Vṛtra and could not find peace.
