ततो भगवतस्तेजो ज्वरो भूत्वा जगत्पतेः ।

30. Then, the venerable lord of the world's (Shiva's) fiery energy (tejaḥ), having become a fever, entered the exceedingly terrible Vṛtra, the chief of the Daityas, at that time.
