महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-200, verse-9

स दृष्ट्वा पृथिवीं चैव सर्वभूतेश्वरः प्रभुः ।
अप्स्वेव शयनं चक्रे महात्मा पुरुषोत्तमः ॥९॥
9. sa dṛṣṭvā pṛthivīṁ caiva sarvabhūteśvaraḥ prabhuḥ ,
apsveva śayanaṁ cakre mahātmā puruṣottamaḥ.
9. saḥ dṛṣṭvā pṛthivīm ca eva sarvabhūteśvaraḥ
prabhuḥ apsu eva śayanam cakre mahātmā puruṣottamaḥ
9. saḥ ca eva pṛthivīm dṛṣṭvā prabhuḥ sarvabhūteśvaraḥ
mahātmā puruṣottamaḥ eva apsu śayanam cakre
9. And having indeed seen the earth, that Lord (prabhu), the sovereign of all beings (sarvabhūteśvara), the Great-Souled (mahātman) and Supreme Person (puruṣottama), made His repose in the waters.
