महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-200, verse-18

मरीचिः कश्यपं तात पुत्रं चासृजदग्रजम् ।
मानसं जनयामास तैजसं ब्रह्मसत्तमम् ॥१८॥
18. marīciḥ kaśyapaṁ tāta putraṁ cāsṛjadagrajam ,
mānasaṁ janayāmāsa taijasaṁ brahmasattamam.

18. O dear one, Marīci begot Kaśyapa, his elder son, causing him to be born as mind-born, brilliant, and the most excellent among Brahmins.
