महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-200, verse-28

विप्रचित्तिप्रधानांश्च दानवानसृजद्दनुः ।
दितिस्तु सर्वानसुरान्महासत्त्वान्व्यजायत ॥२८॥

28. Danu gave birth to the Dānavas, led by Vipracitti. But Diti, on the other hand, brought forth all the Asuras, who were mighty beings.
