न चैषां मैथुनो धर्मो बभूव भरतर्षभ ।
संकल्पादेव चैतेषामपत्यमुदपद्यत ॥३५॥

35. And for them, O best of Bharatas, the procreative practice (dharma) of sexual union did not exist. Their offspring were produced merely from their will (saṅkalpa).
