महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-117, verse-44

ततो मुनिजनद्वेषाद्दुष्टात्मा श्वाकृतोऽबुधः ।
ऋषिणा शरभः शप्तः स्वं रूपं पुनराप्तवान् ॥४४॥
44. tato munijanadveṣādduṣṭātmā śvākṛto'budhaḥ ,
ṛṣiṇā śarabhaḥ śaptaḥ svaṁ rūpaṁ punarāptavān.

ṛṣiṇā śarabhaḥ śaptaḥ svam rūpam punar āptavān

44. Then, Sharabha, the wicked-minded and foolish one, who had been transformed into a dog by a sage's curse due to his hatred for ascetics, regained his own form.
