महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-117, verse-27

कदाचिद्रममाणस्य हस्तिनः सुमुखं तदा ।
ऋषेस्तस्योटजस्थस्य कालोऽगच्छन्निशानिशम् ॥२७॥
27. kadācidramamāṇasya hastinaḥ sumukhaṁ tadā ,
ṛṣestasyoṭajasthasya kālo'gacchanniśāniśam.

tasya uṭajasthasya kālaḥ agacchat niśāniśam

27. Then, one day, while the elephant was enjoying himself, time passed pleasantly, night after night, for that sage residing in his hut.
