महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-117, verse-38

शरभोऽप्यतिसंदुष्टो नित्यं प्राणिवधे रतः ।
फलमूलाशनं शान्तं नैच्छत्स पिशिताशनः ॥३८॥
38. śarabho'pyatisaṁduṣṭo nityaṁ prāṇivadhe rataḥ ,
phalamūlāśanaṁ śāntaṁ naicchatsa piśitāśanaḥ.
