महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-117, verse-37

ततः शरभसंत्रस्ताः सर्वे मृगगणा वनात् ।
दिशः संप्राद्रवन्राजन्भयाज्जीवितकाङ्क्षिणः ॥३७॥
37. tataḥ śarabhasaṁtrastāḥ sarve mṛgagaṇā vanāt ,
diśaḥ saṁprādravanrājanbhayājjīvitakāṅkṣiṇaḥ.

37. Then, O King, all the animal herds, terrified by the śarabha, and desiring to live, fled from the forest in all directions out of fear.
