महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-117, verse-18

व्याघ्रं दृष्ट्वा क्षुधाभग्नं दंष्ट्रिणं वनगोचरम् ।
द्वीपी जीवितरक्षार्थमृषिं शरणमेयिवान् ॥१८॥
