महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-65, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ततो गच्छन्महाबाहुरेकोऽमात्यान्विसृज्य तान् ।
नापश्यदाश्रमे तस्मिंस्तमृषिं संशितव्रतम् ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tato gacchanmahābāhureko'mātyānvisṛjya tān ,
nāpaśyadāśrame tasmiṁstamṛṣiṁ saṁśitavratam.
1. vaiśampāyana uvāca tataḥ gacchan mahābāhuḥ ekaḥ amātyān
visṛjya tān na apaśyat āśrame tasmin tam ṛṣim saṃśitavratam
1. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, the mighty-armed king, proceeding alone after dismissing his ministers, did not see the sage of firm vows in that hermitage.
