योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-29, verse-67

अहं ब्रह्म जगच्चेदमित्यविद्यामयो भ्रमः ।
असत्यः प्रेक्षया ध्वान्तं दीपेनेव न लभ्यते ॥ ६७ ॥
ahaṃ brahma jagaccedamityavidyāmayo bhramaḥ ,
asatyaḥ prekṣayā dhvāntaṃ dīpeneva na labhyate 67
67. aham brahma jagat ca idam iti avidyāmayaḥ bhramaḥ
asatyaḥ prekṣayā dhvāntam dīpena iva na labhyate
67. aham brahma ca idam jagat iti avidyāmayaḥ bhramaḥ
asatyaḥ dīpena dhvāntam iva prekṣayā na labhyate
67. The illusion (bhrama) that "I am Brahman, and this world (jagat) exists" is born of ignorance (avidyā). This unreal perception, like darkness (dhvānta), cannot be found or perceived when illuminated by discerning awareness.
