यन्मयो हि भवत्यङ्ग पुरुषो वक्ति तादृशम् ।
ज्ञेयमात्रमयश्चाहं वागतीते पदे स्थितः ॥ ४० ॥

Indeed, O dear one, a person (puruṣa) speaks according to what he is absorbed in. And I, being absorbed only in that which is to be known, am situated in a state (pada) that is beyond speech.
