योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-160, verse-43

शुद्धा सिद्धपुराण्येव पश्यत्यनुभवत्यपि ।
चिदशुद्धानि रूपाणि दुःखानि नरकेष्वति ॥ ४३ ॥
śuddhā siddhapurāṇyeva paśyatyanubhavatyapi ,
cidaśuddhāni rūpāṇi duḥkhāni narakeṣvati 43
43. śuddhā siddhapurāṇi eva paśyati anubhavati api
| cit aśuddhāni rūpāṇi duḥkhāni narakeṣu ati ||
43. śuddhā (cit) siddhapurāṇi eva paśyati api anubhavati cit

43. A pure consciousness (cit) sees and experiences only the realms of perfected beings (siddhas). Conversely, consciousness also (sees) impure forms and (experiences) great sufferings (duḥkha) in the hells.
