श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एवंवादिनि सैवास्य वाक्यमाक्षिप्य भूपतेः ।
भूयः प्रोवाच चूडाला मुनिदारकरूपिणी ॥ ५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭhaḥ uvāca: bhūpateḥ evaṃvādini (sati) sā eva munidārakarūpiṇī cūḍālā asya vākyam ākṣipya bhūyaḥ provāca.

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: As the king (bhūpati) was speaking thus, Chūḍālā, who was in the guise of a young sage (muni-dāraka), herself interrupted his words and spoke again.
