After King Daśaratha and others, as well as the sages, had followed the sage, the speaker (Vasiṣṭha), for an appropriate amount of time and had taken their leave, some ascended to the sky, some went to other forests, while others among these worthy people returned to the royal palace, just like bees rising from a lotus.
