योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-1, verse-1

श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
उपशमप्रकरणादनन्तरमिदं श्रृणु ।
त्वं निर्वाणप्रकरणं ज्ञातं निर्वाणदायि यत् ॥ १ ॥

upaśamaprakaraṇādanantaramidaṃ śrṛṇu ,
tvaṃ nirvāṇaprakaraṇaṃ jñātaṃ nirvāṇadāyi yat 1
1. śrī-vālmīkiḥ uvāca upaśama-prakaraṇāt anantaram idam
śṛṇu tvam nirvāṇa-prakaraṇam jñātam nirvāṇa-dāyi yat
1. The venerable Vālmīki said: 'After the chapter on tranquility, listen to this — the chapter on (nirvāṇa) liberation, which is known to bestow (nirvāṇa) liberation.'
