योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-39, verse-38

कृशोऽतिदुःखी मूढोऽहमेताश्चान्याश्च भावनाः ।
मतिं यस्यावलुम्पन्ति मरणं तस्य राजते ॥ ३८ ॥
kṛśo'tiduḥkhī mūḍho'hametāścānyāśca bhāvanāḥ ,
matiṃ yasyāvalumpanti maraṇaṃ tasya rājate 38
38. kr̥śaḥ atiduḥkhī mūḍhaḥ aham etāḥ ca anyāḥ ca
bhāvanāḥ matim yasya avalumpanti maraṇam tasya rājate
38. (yaḥ) 'aham kr̥śaḥ atiduḥkhī mūḍhaḥ' etāḥ ca anyāḥ ca bhāvanāḥ yasya matim avalumpanti,
tasya maraṇam rājate
38. For him whose understanding is obscured by thoughts such as 'I am weak, I am extremely miserable, I am deluded,' as well as other similar feelings (bhāvanāḥ), death seems glorious.
