योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-39, verse-28

नोदिता द्वादशादित्या न प्रलीनाः शिलोच्चयाः ।
न जगज्ज्वलितं साधो तनुं त्यजसि किं मुधा ॥ २८ ॥
noditā dvādaśādityā na pralīnāḥ śiloccayāḥ ,
na jagajjvalitaṃ sādho tanuṃ tyajasi kiṃ mudhā 28
28. na uditāḥ dvādaśa ādityāḥ na pralīnāḥ śiloccayāḥ
na jagat jvalitam sādho tanum tyajasi kim mudhā
28. sādho dvādaśa ādityāḥ na uditāḥ na śiloccayāḥ
pralīnāḥ na jagat jvalitam kim mudhā tanum tyajasi
28. The twelve suns have not yet risen, nor have the mountains crumbled. The world is not aflame. O good person, why do you abandon your body in vain?
