योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-39, verse-50

अवस्तुसदृशे वस्तुन्यसक्तं कलनामले ।
येन लीनं कृतं चेतो जीवितं तस्य शोभते ॥ ५० ॥
avastusadṛśe vastunyasaktaṃ kalanāmale ,
yena līnaṃ kṛtaṃ ceto jīvitaṃ tasya śobhate 50
50. avastusadṛśe vastuni asaktam kalanā amale
yena līnam kṛtam cetaḥ jīvitam tasya śobhate
50. tasya jīvitam śobhate yena cetaḥ avastusadṛśe
vastuni kalanā amale asaktam līnam kṛtam
50. The life of that person flourishes who, unattached, has absorbed their consciousness (cetas) in what resembles non-existence (avastu), even when perceived as a substantial thing (vastu), and in pure, undefiled conceptual awareness.
