तत्र ये ते महाकाराः पुरुषाः प्रभ्रमन्ति हि ।
मनांसि तानि विद्धि त्वं दुःखे निपतितान्यलम् ॥ ५ ॥

tatra ye te mahākārāḥ puruṣāḥ prabhramanti hi ,
manāṃsi tāni viddhi tvaṃ duḥkhe nipatitānyalam 5

Know that those great-bodied individual consciousnesses (puruṣas) which indeed wander there (in the world) are minds (manas) that have completely fallen into suffering.
