योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-91, verse-45

अहंतापदमन्तात्मपदं विद्धि निरामयम् ।
विदं विदुरहंतादि शैत्यमेव यथा हिमम् ॥ ४५ ॥
ahaṃtāpadamantātmapadaṃ viddhi nirāmayam ,
vidaṃ vidurahaṃtādi śaityameva yathā himam 45

vidam viduḥ ahantādi śaityam eva yathā himam

45. Know the state of ego (ahaṅkāra) to be the supreme state of the (ātman) Self, which is pure and is knowledge itself. The wise understand egoism and its manifestations to be nothing more than coldness, just as ice (is known for its coldness).
