योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-78, verse-36

मन्त्र्युवाच ।
अयं राजा किरातानामस्याहं मन्त्रितां गतः ।
उद्यतौ रात्रिचर्येण त्वादृग्जनविनिग्रहे ॥ ३६ ॥

ayaṃ rājā kirātānāmasyāhaṃ mantritāṃ gataḥ ,
udyatau rātricaryeṇa tvādṛgjanavinigrahe 36
36. mantrī uvāca ayam rājā kirātānām asya aham mantritām
gataḥ udyatau rātricaryeṇa tvādṛk janavinigrahe
36. mantrī uvāca ayam kirātānām rājā asya aham mantritām
gataḥ rātricaryeṇa tvādṛk janavinigrahe udyatau
36. The minister (mantrī) said: 'This is the king of the Kirātas, and I am his minister. We are prepared, engaged in our nightly rounds, to subdue people like you.'
