योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-71, verse-7

हा हताहमनाथाहमनाश्वासा निरास्पदा ।
दुःखाद्दुःखे निमज्जामि संकटात्संकटेऽपि च ॥ ७ ॥
hā hatāhamanāthāhamanāśvāsā nirāspadā ,
duḥkhādduḥkhe nimajjāmi saṃkaṭātsaṃkaṭe'pi ca 7
7. hā hatā aham anāthā aham anāśvāsā nirāspadā |
duḥkhāt duḥkhe nimajjāmi saṅkaṭāt saṅkaṭe api ca ||
7. hā! aham hatā,
aham anāthā,
anāśvāsā,
nirāspadā (asmi).
(aham) duḥkhāt duḥkhe nimajjāmi,
ca api saṅkaṭāt saṅkaṭe (nimajjāmi).
7. Alas! I am ruined, I am helpless, without comfort, and without refuge. I sink from one sorrow into another sorrow, and moreover, from one danger into another danger.
