योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-71, verse-37

हा नेत्रे कृष्णरजनीरजःशुष्केन्धनैजने ।
कस्मान्न मे भूषयतो दृग्ज्वालामालया दिश ॥ ३७ ॥
hā netre kṛṣṇarajanīrajaḥśuṣkendhanaijane ,
kasmānna me bhūṣayato dṛgjvālāmālayā diśa 37

37. Alas, O eyes, you who were like igniters of dry fuel from the soot of the darkest night! Why do you no longer adorn the directions for me with a garland of fiery glances?
