योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-71, verse-21

अतः कियन्तं नो जाने कालमावलितापदम् ।
मयापच्छ्वभ्रगर्तेषु लुठितव्यं हतेहया ॥ २१ ॥
ataḥ kiyantaṃ no jāne kālamāvalitāpadam ,
mayāpacchvabhragarteṣu luṭhitavyaṃ hatehayā 21
21. ataḥ kiyantam na jāne kālam āvalita-āpadam mayā
āpat-śvabhra-garteṣu luṭhitavyam hata-īhayā
21. ataḥ āvalita-āpadam kiyantam kālam na jāne.
hata-īhayā mayā āpat-śvabhra-garteṣu luṭhitavyam.
21. Therefore, I do not know for how long I must endure this period fraught with misfortunes. With my aspirations thwarted, I am destined to be tossed about in the abysses of calamity (āpad).
